It turns out the real issue here was graphics issue. Inventor11 wants to run d3d instead of OGL. This is fixed by settingInventor 11 to run OGL instead of d3d. Solid Works does notsupport d3d yet as far as I know. I think this why they don'tsupport Vista yet.
